Data is crucial for the Company and all its processes to be able to reach the objectives. As Data Analyst, your primary responsibility is to supervise and manage all the data used within the Company in such a way that Unifiber can continue the deployment of growth of its network with a data driven approach. Proving valuable insights by gathering, interpreting, analyzing and validating data is one of the main activities on a daily base. You will work closely together with all stakeholders within the Company to maintain high standards.
In essence, as a Data Analyst at Unifiber, you'll be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights, driving informed decision-making. Utilizing analysis, you'll craft informative dashboards and reports, visualizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to facilitate informed decision-making by the management team.
We're looking for an established Data Analyst who has proven track record. You will be responsible for:
- Collection of data ; the Data Analyst must primarily collect of mine data from primary and secondary sources. This means you obtain relevant information from the Company’s database or possible from external sources.
- Data preparation and cleaning; once the relevant data is collected, make corrections and organize everything for analysis. After all, data often contains irregularities, copies or errors that can affect its interpretation. This cleaning process also removes data that could disrupt the evaluation or produce erroneous results.
- Organizing data; designing the database in which the data is stored. Using programming skills to structure databases, for example by setting up different categories and connecting relevant data including determining how the stored data looks like.
- Interpretation of data: the Data Analyst looks for objective data in the collected data using analytical tools. It is important that the results of that search process provide answers to specific questions.
- Preparation of data reports and visual representations; as a Data Analyst you must be able to convert raw data into readable, accessible information that helps the decision-making by the management team.

- You have 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a telecom environment;
- You have 3+ years of experience in SQL, Python and PowerBI;
- You have strong coordinating and communication skills;
- Ideally you are a native French speaker and good in English, both written and oral;
- You are flexible and have the capability to support other departments in the Operations team;
- You are driven, enthusiastic and radiate confidence and responsibility.
Unifiber strives to deploy a Homes Passed network in municipalities in Wallonia, varying from 4.000 to 60.000 Homes Passed (living units) per municipality. The Operations team is responsible for the day-to-day activities and processes of the business. Its main role is to ensure that the company’s operations are running efficiently and effectively, and that the business is meeting its goals and objectives.
