Your job
As Project Manager Homes Connect, you will be responsible to prepare, facilitate and coordinate the realization of the Homes Connect activity. Unifiber strives to connect homes in municipalities in Wallonia, varying from 4.000 to 60.000 living units per municipality. You will manage multiple homes connect deployment initiatives at multiple municipalities at the same time in close cooperation with Homes Connect Order Manager(s), Contract Manager, Operators & Partners.
- Facilitate & support realization of Homes Connect by contractor in close cooperation with Homes Connect Order Manager(s)
- Coordination realization of drop cable, mount FTU, place patches in area POPs
- Coordination of installation of and/or remove patches at reactivation and termination orders
- Ensure end-customer related processes (specifically appointment booking) will be customer centric

We expect our partners to take ownership & responsibility for their respective scope, and we expect you to facilitate, spar with- and manage the contractor on milestones, results, and deviations of planning/time/quality. During roll out you align on planning, communication with stakeholders and are a first point for escalations. Your main goal is to realize the Homes Connect phase of our deployment within time, budget, and quality. A dedicated focus and ability to maneuver between time and budget goals, strive for solutions and ideas to continuously improve processes without losing focus on the overall result are key success factors
Additionally, you will collaborate with our Contract Manager and provide him/her with input and ideas on the performance of our contractors as we benefit largely and believe strongly in a good and productive working relationship.

- Contract of indefinite duration
- An employment contract of 38 hours per week

- You have 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience in project management in which you have been working with contractors in a similar role, preferably in a telecom environment.
- You are well in setting up and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
- You have strong coordinating skills, a facilitating nature, are structured in planning and communication.
- You are process minded and understand basic process flows, finding gaps and opportunities.
- Ideally you are a native French speaker and good in English, both written and verbal.
- Entrepreneurship, the ability to be agile in our changing environment.
- You are driven, enthusiastic and radiate confidence and responsibility.
The Operations team is responsible for designing, building, maintaining an open FTTx network in Wallonia and connecting end-users onto the network for operators that want to offer services over Unifiber’s fiber network. We use a project & process-based methodology that enables us to work efficiently towards our ambitious goals.
